Although HSC has had a focus on customised privately arranged investment and structured financial products since its beginnings, it has increasingly paid attention to “green” and sustainable activities driven by rising customer demand and increasing regulation.

As part of this effort, HSC became a member of the UK Sustainable Investment & Finance Association, an organisation looking to create links between financial firms looking to support sustainable investing and to work with policy makers in this area.

Green Transitional Materials (GTX)

In reviewing the market, HSC felt that there was an intriguing investment opportunity in advanced scientific materials that will be critical to support energy transition.

HSC has engaged with research universities and scientists to evaluate and develop opportunities.

HSC has set up Green Transitional Materials Pte Ltd (GTX), a Singapore based newco to focus and commercialise efforts in this area.
